Last year, three standards were developed that support the implementation of information modeling in the construction of Russia. Vladimir Yakushev, the Minister of Construction of Russia, told reporters about this at the V International Forum and Exhibition of High-Rise and Unique Construction Forum Russia 100+ in Yekaterinburg.

In particular, GOST “Organization of information about construction works. Information management in construction using information modeling technology. Part 1. Concepts and principles" was developed. It defines the concepts and principles for business processes of management and information production (called information management) in construction over the life cycle of assets represented in the form of capital construction objects using BIM. These processes can positively affect the business results of owners / operators of an asset, customers, supply chain participants, project investors and those who increase return on investment, reduce risks and reduce costs by developing and using information models of designed, constructed and already constructed capital projects. construction.

The second standard is GOST “Organization of information about construction works. Information management in construction using information modeling technology. Part 2. Stage of creating assets". This standard defines the requirements for information management processes in the context of the stage of delivering information about assets (from the initial design of the project to commissioning) and the exchange of information in it when using building information modeling. The standard is designed to enable the customer to set their requirements for project information at the stage of delivering information about assets (from the initial design of the project to commissioning) and to provide a common data production environment in which various collaborators can effectively and efficiently develop project information.

The third standard developed is GOST “Data Structures of Electronic Catalogs of Products for Building Engineering Systems. Part 1. Concepts, architecture and model". The standard defines the data structures of electronic product catalogs for the automatic transfer of data on engineering products to the information models of the object and the models of the applied software of engineering systems. The standard provides basic concepts and a general model that defines the elements available for modeling and their interrelationships.
