At the end of August 2019, Deputy Minister Dmitry Volkov held a meeting of an open expert group at the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation on the use of information modeling technology. During the meeting, issues of interregional interaction and the start of work on regional pilot projects developed using information modeling technology were raised.

The practice of the formation of extraterritorial participation of experts tested by the Glavgosexpertiza proved to be very effective. The AIS project “project appraisal” allows you to attract an expert who is in another territory. The goal of developing a life cycle management system for a capital construction project using information modeling is to modernize the construction industry and improve the quality of construction, carried out in accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation of 07.19.2018 / Pr-1235.

The principle of developing an NTD system will take into account international experience and will include the systematization of all documents, their structuring, involvement of the professional community, and will connect all stages of the life cycle of capital construction projects.
