On March 11th, 2019, the 4th year students of the Department of heat, gas supply and ventilation of the faculty of environmental engineering and urban management of St. Petersburg state University of architecture and construction under the guidance of PhD, associate Professor Vladimir Vasilyev paid a visit the Project Development Institute No.1. The program of the visit included excursions to the Museum and the Institute.

Museum curator Victoria Zinovyeva spoke about the design business, its development in the USSR and modern Russia, as well as history of the Institute – so closely intertwined with the design evolution. The tour participants were able to get acquainted with the exhibits of the Museum and  watched a small video about the work of the branch of PI-No.1 in the Kyrgyz Republic.

A brief tour of the project units of PI-No.1 with a visit to the Architectural Studio, the Bureau of chief engineers of the project, the Complex design Studio was held By Deputy CEO Tatyana Ignatyeva.

Also, students listened to Yakov Kreer, who worked for about 50 years in PI-No.1 and 17 of them as the Chief engineer, now the Chairman of PI-No.1 Business club, with a short lecture on the work of the engineer and designer.

HR specialist Anfisa Tatarchuk presented information about the possibility of practical training at the Institute.

At the end of the tour all participants of the meeting watched a video about the modern PI-No.1 and implementation of current projects.  Students and teachers thanked the specialists of PI-No.1 for the tours and the received information, and some of the participants expressed desire to immediate enroll in the practice.
