ECOLOGY AND COMMUNAL SERVICES - INTRODUCTION OF NEW TECHONOLGIES

The round table on the introduction of new production technologies in the field of ecology and housing and communal services was held at the Contact Center for Builders of St. Petersburg on July 11. The organizers were the Union of Construction Associations and Organizations and the Competence Center of the Scientific and Technical Institute of St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University. The moderators of the event were O. A. Britov, Vice-President of the Russian Union of Builders, and V.N. Belsky, deputy Head of STI SPbGPU.

Within the framework of the desktop, the participants familiarized themselves with the following presentations prepared by representatives of the participating companies:

- SMART waste management

- New concept of organic recovery

- Development of interactive maps for assessing the quality of drinking water

- An integrated approach to the design of wastewater treatment plants

- BIM-modeling for the design of sewage treatment plants

- Application of laser scanning for BIM-modeling

- Ways to assess the presence of harmful gases in ambient air.

In the course of the discussion that followed the presentations, participants shared their views on the role of environmental technologies in the design, construction and management of real estate, the importance of observing environmental standards as part of creating and maintaining a comfortable environment for human life.

Representatives of JSC "PI-№ 1" also participated in the round table.
