Project Development Institute №1, founded in 1946 in Leningrad, during its more than 70 years of activity has made a significant contribution to the formation and development of the industrial base of the country, having developed project documentation for dozens of industrial and civil facilities.

Thanks to the work of PI-No. 1 in different years were built or reconstructed “ELEKTROSILA”, “Atommash” in Volgodonsk, the "Admiralty shipyards", Kirov, the Baltic and Izhorsky Plants, car production of Hyundai, Ford and General motors, as well as “Lenpoligrafmash’, LMZ, Kraft foods, Heineken, Shipyard in the city of Riga and many others.

At the present stage, Project Development Institute No. 1, using the most advanced technologies, takes an active part in the implementation of large-scale projects in the Russian Federation and abroad.

The Committee for the construction of St. Petersburg to the Day of the Builder noted the significant contribution of the Institute to the development of the construction industry of the city and thanked the PI-№1 staff with the special gratitude.
