FORUM "DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" IN PETERSBURG

The 1st International Forum “Digital Transformation of the Construction Industry for Sustainable Development” was recently organised in St. Petersburg at the ExpoForum Exhibition Center - a platform for dialogue and exchange of experience in the implementation of the life cycle management system of capital construction projects using information modeling technologies.
The topic of digitalization of the construction industry has attracted the attention of the professional community from different parts of Russia and the world.
The following main topics of the business program were announced:
- The role of the state in the implementation of SIM;
- The economic benefits of using the "digital double";
- Ways of development of Russian software for BIM-technologies;
- Practical experience in using the information model throughout the life cycle of the building.
The Governor of St. Petersburg A.D. Beglov and and Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation V.V. Yakushev took part in the plenary meeting of the Forum. Guests of the event were leading international experts, representatives of the federal and regional authorities, and the business community.
