Straume Riga plant

In the early 1970s,’ new buildings were constructed for the Straume Riga plant that produced toys and household appliances. Project Development Institute No. 1 took part in the industrial designing. Detailed design documents were issued in 1972, and the buildings were commissioned in 1974. The plant’s range of products, including mixers, coffee-grinders, meat-grinders and irons, enjoyed great popularity in the USSR.
