contact i

The plant was designed by Project Development Institute No. 1 together with Italy’s Montecartini company and the Leningrad Institute of Mineral Pigments (GIMP). The Soviet Union’s first titanium dioxide plant producing an important pigment for the paint-and-lacquer industry was built in Sumy in 1962. Today, Sumykhimprom OJSC is a major power-generation and chemical complex classified as a primary enterprise in the Ukrainian chemical industry engaged in the production of phosphoric mineral fertilizers.
